Ethylene/butene copolymer for blown film, produced by a gas-phase process. It leaves the plant with slip and antiblock, so no masterbatch of these additives is needed in the blend.
Applications: Light to medium blown film, stretch film, heavy-duty sacks, agricultural film and produce bags.
Quote Taisox 3224 →Octene LLDPE for film that demands strength: 220 g dart impact and Elmendorf tear of 370 g (MD) and 630 g (TD) in 25 µm film. Melting at 119 °C. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for food contact.
Applications: Heavy-duty industrial film, lamination, shrink film and consumer films.
Quote Dowlex 2045G →Butene LLDPE for packaging blown film, with easy opening confirmed on the lot's certificate of analysis. It is the most cost-effective option in the portfolio, with lot traceability.
Applications: Blown film for packaging.

It is linear low-density polyethylene. It is made with a comonomer (butene C4 or octene C8) that keeps the chain linear and gives the film more impact, tear and puncture resistance than standard LDPE.
It is how much the resin flows in the extruder, in g/10 min. The higher it is, the easier to process; the lower it is, the tougher the film tends to be. An index of 1.0 is typical of heavy-duty industrial film; 2.0, of light to medium film.
They keep the film from sticking to itself and make the bag easier to open. Resins without these additives usually get a masterbatch in the blend.
Pricing is available on request, in BRL per kilo, and follows the dollar rate (PTAX, Brazil's official dollar rate) on the day of the order. The proposal is issued in writing, with product, quantity, delivery time and validity.
