FAQ

Does Esfera import any polyethylene resin?

Esfera sources the resin based on the technical specification you provide (process, melt flow, density, volume) and confirms the origin and availability before sending the proposal.

Is the lot's origin disclosed?

Yes. The origin of each lot is confirmed before the proposal; it is not assumed from the resin's trade name.

How does payment work?

After you accept the proposal, you pay Esfera in Brazilian reais, under the terms set in the approved proposal. The import starts once payment is confirmed.

How long does the import take?

About 40 days by ship, plus the time for customs clearance and cargo release. The lead time for each order is stated in writing in the proposal.

How much does it cost to import resin?

Pricing is available on request, in BRL per kilo, and follows the dollar rate (PTAX, Brazil's official dollar rate) on the day of the order. The proposal is issued in writing, with product, quantity, delivery time and validity.
